Birch Bark

Birch Bark: in my opinion one of the most beautiful material for making rod grips and occasionally i've used it also for the reel seat insert. No doubt it's a tricky material to work with, but the result it's always a joy for the eye. In the On Line Shop you'll find packs of 100 pieces each of selected and cleaned Birch Bark; the single pieces are cutted with a dimension of 1x1 squared inches each. With a pack of 100 pieces you can make an 8 inches grip.

Reel Seat Hardware

Reel seat Hardware: after many years i da been buying Reel seat hardware available on the market, i decided to start to machine them by myself. The hardware are Precision-machined from solid bars of Brass or Nickel Silver. The model is a downlocking slide band and it's a recall to the Classic Catskill HLL Model; they are recommended for #3-5 line weight rods. Dimensions: Diameter 0.650; Length: 3.420; Butt Cap I.D. 0.650; Slide Band I.D. 0.665

Stabilized Wood Essences

Wood Blanks: this is my new addition. Working with wood it's one of my long time passion. In the On Line Shop you'll find a selection of national or exotic woods, stabilized here in my Lab. They have been selected, cutted and treated to be very exclusive reel seat wood insert. Enjoy!

Blanks

As I do with my fly rods, the blank i offer on request, are totally handplaned . The basic taper selection will cover a lenghts range between 6' and 9', in 2 or 3 pieces with 2 tips; the range of line weights will be from #2 to #5. The idea is to offer ny bamboo blanks especially to professional rodbuilders.
